Every time I have gone, I've had no issues with food quality, portioning or price. When I went during non peak service, the non-kitchen staff was happy to converse and a joy to talk to. Would absolutely recommend, even if, perhaps especially if, you are a fan of either of the two closest restaurants with a similar cuisine, even though I have no complaints about either of them.
The food is absolutely delicious!!!! Will be back again and again, I recommend everyone go here if they have the chance!!!!!

La Patrona is a great spot for takeout or dining in, with many angled parking spots for easy access. The restaurant is all one level with ramps, and the dining area has space between tables for wheelchairs. Picnic tables outside and booths along the side offer kid-friendly and private seating. The food is consistently good, with no issues with quality, portioning, or price. The quesobirria tacos and fajita chicken nachos are favorite menu items, and the plates are filled generously. The hot salsa is highly recommended. Service is great, with employees who are extremely nice and a friendly owner. The atmosphere depends on the day—nice on sunny days, but not as pleasant when raining. Some customers have noted that beans or rice were missing from a meal order, though what was received was very good. The restaurant also owns a new location on Clinton Highway with an even larger menu. Highly recommended for fans of similar cuisine.
