A Memphis favorite that we are sooooo thankful is in Knoxville. I don't like spicy food so middle Tennessee hot chicken is not for me. Gus's has a very nice flavor that is not overwhelming. Oh and the owners are Big Orange fans. Go see them!!

Was recommended by a couple of friends. I wasn’t too impressed when I walked in, and then when I saw the pricing - you can’t get a decent meal there for less than $12-15 plus drink and tip - that makes it a $20 lunch - a little spendy for lunch, but the staff was friendly, and when the food came out - the portions were very generous and the fried chicken was really tasty! Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. The slaw was really good and fresh made. The mac’n’cheese...
