My mother and I stopped in for lunch. It was her first time eating there but I usually get some food here every time I'm in town. Love this place. The food is always hot, fresh, and made to order. Service is excellent and portions are excellent for the price point. I'll continue to eat here when I'm in Knoxville as long as they keep the food great, service excellent, and prices competitive.
I had high hopes seeing previous reviews, but sadly, I was disappointed. The meal was fair at best. The chicken on my dish was overcooked and dry. The rice was bland, and I have had better canned beans. My sisters meal had a chicken enchilada, and it was probably the best tasting of the entire meal. Her spinach enchilada was also bland. The salsa helped a little because it was the best of the entire meal. The staff was effective but dull at best. There is no real engagement...
