Boyd's Jig and Reel is a restaurant that offers a great pub atmosphere, featuring a comfortable setting and friendly staff. The menu boasts a variety of delicious options, including the highly praised burger, fish and chips, and traditional Scottish meat pies. The prices are reasonable, with a meal and drinks costing around $28. The restaurant is known for its extensive whiskey selection and excellent beer choices. Customers often mention the good service and great food, especially highlighting the fish and chips with flaky fish in crispy batter and hot, golden chips. Visitors enjoy listening to live folk music and relaxing in the laid-back vibe. The restaurant has plenty of space, with two extra rooms to the left of the bar. Some reviews noted that the service was attentive, but one person mentioned witnessing a lady stumbling due to intoxication, and the bartender did not seem concerned. Overall, Boyd's Jig and Reel is a popular spot for a pint, good food, and a cozy atmosphere that makes people feel at home.
