A North Knoxville institution. Old school vibe. Lunch menu surprised me. Good sized portion of french dip sandwich. Lunch crowd on a thursday was light. Food took a while but sandwich came put hot and fresh. Worth the wait. Some old school meals including liver and onions. Parking ok and pretty easy to get out.
Louis Restaurant has been serving Knoxville since 1958, and after my meal tonight, it’s easy to see why they’ve remained a local favorite for so many years.
The service was outstanding, and the chefs clearly take pride in every dish they prepare. Tonight, I ordered the Ribeye Steak, and I was amazed by the size of it. Cooked medium rare, it was absolutely perfect—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.
