But the customer service was GREAT!
Was just passing through and found this on our Gluten Free app. Notified the chef we were gluten free, and he let us know there’s a dedicated fryer and gave recommendations!

Was taken a bit by surprise at your food truck when I ordered your kettle chips. I was thinking they would be fried on the spot, fresh potatoes. I was handed an individual portioned bag of plain potato chips and then asked to hand over $3. I know prices are up at the wholesale and retail end, but to charge $3 for a .37$ bag of chips?
First time visit - stopped and picked up a quart of barbecue pork and it was delicious. The smokers outside were all puffing clouds of smoke and it smelled so good. The dinning area was packed at 11:45 today. Next time I will have to try some sides and pork shoulder meal ! Great service with a smile from all the staff !!

Backyard BBQ of Lafayette is a roadside Mom & Pop BBQ joint. It is the best BBQ in Kentucky or Tennessee, and a must stop if even remotely close by. The sliced pork shoulder is good, and the slaw is probably one of the best. Personal favorites include the hamburgers, which are handmade, good size, and fresh, as well as the dipped hotdogs, shredded sandwich, and delicious baked beans. The BBQ Sandwich is delicious, and they sure know how to make a proper sweet tea. The staff is just as amazing as the food, always friendly and welcoming. Good food most of the time, a smiling face and good service. It looks nice and put together on the inside. Some customers have never gotten a bad plate of bbq from them. Stop & eat, you won’t be disappointed.
