I moved to Westmoreland recently and was trying to find a new place to try for country cooking. I found this place online with great reviews. Now I see why. Stacy was my waitress and she was great. She had the laid back country charm. I ordered the catfish fillet and it was huge. The sides were great as well and sweet tea was perfect. You can tell this is a place the locals go. I definitely recommend this place if you like the down home southern vibe.
Food was really good, portions are generous, and prices are fair. Service is friendly. Food is a little slow and arrives at different times for everyone at table, but worth the wait.
It's shabby and run down, could use a good deep cleaning, but still a great place to have breakfast and lunch.

Great food and wonderful people! Lowest prices around for a home cooked meal! You'll think your grandma is in the kitchen! This place is still the best place in Lafayette to eat.
