“If Gandalf and Gordon Ramsay had a baby and shrunk him down to fun-size, that baby would be Carl. This short lil white dude isn’t just making pizzas he’s out here slinging dough like it’s a Michelin star dojo.

Walked in for a large pepperoni. Walked out with a spiritual experience.

Carl greeted me with the energy of a caffeinated squirrel and the confidence of a man who’s mastered the ancient art of crust perfection. I swear on all things cheesy, my pizza was so good I considered proposing to it. But Carl, in all his 5’7” glory (okay maybe 5’5” on a good day), gave me a wink and said, “It’s not the size, it’s the slice.”

The man moved like a pizza powered ninja. Flames in the oven, toppings flying, customers smiling and there’s Carl, leading the charge like a doughy Napoleon with marinara on his cape.

If you don’t get a pizza made by Carl, did you even go to Domino’s?

Give this man a raise. Give him a crown. Or at least a step stool.

“First off, the deep dish pizza is awesome and is good every time. We came in with our daughter who is autistic and she only eats pretzels. Well, they were out of pretzels and the world was ending. “Food was fresh and the custome pizzas were very fast. No concerns with the food at all!

If there was one thing the owner/management could improve is that the restrooms smell awful and can be noticed all the way up to the drink machine area. It’s like a chlorine and dirty bathroom smell.“

“I gave up pizza for years until I had Marco’s build your own pizza with double sauce their ingredients are superb. Their cheese is so cheesy, their sauce is that perfect tomato base , their crust is fresh everyday. This pizza has the best flavor!! Their service is excellent too. I would slap my best friend for this pizza! Not really hard and I would run real fast after I did it, because she is twice my size and hits like a boxer but I would still slap her for this pizza…….it’s that good!!!!!“

“I moved here 2 years ago and this was the first place I stop for dinner and since the first day they treated me like a local. The bartender asked me : You are not from here don’t you? And I said, No, I just moved with my family, and from there she started suggesting what to get from the menu, put me up to date with the area, and not only she introduced me to some of their regular customers she even recommended other restaurants, schools and even a good church. The staff has always been nice, but yes sometimes they are a little busy, what is understandable. Coming from FL I had to wait at least 45 min minimum just to get a table. In some occasions the owner has stopped by my table to say hi and to ask about how the service was going and once he even give me and my cousin to try for free the loaded nachos before they put them in the menu. In my opinion, not only the food has been great, (and I have tried most of the menu), but the staff has been extremely helpful and nice taking in consideration that I was new in the area. So for me this has been a great place so far, service is great, food is good and they try to at least make a personal connection with you which most of the places don’t even care. NYPD is a great place and Im happy we have it here in town.“

“Don't ussually do this but we ordered pizza (which we rarely do) and ordered from Marcos pizza in Ooltewah. Not only was it delivered extremely fast (35 min) but the delivery driver was a really nice guy even though it was pouring rain and the order, which was extremely difficult (because we changed a ton of ingredients on both pizza and salad). It was perfect and you see the pic (it actually looks amazing) and last but not least it was delicious. That's a lot considering most restaurants much less fast food and delivery pizza are pure crap these days. I will not order pizza from anywhere else on delivery but Marcos. We have been ordering from there for a long time and it's always good...Just tonight's was exceptional.“

“Since moving to Hixson 11 months ago, this store has been our goto for pizza! Always great deals online and we haven’t had a single issue with an order yet! It’s always fast, and every pizza is made and cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly and attentive.“

“I accidentally put in a order here at the one in Ooltewah and the address that was on the website for some odd reason was hella wrong. So my fiance called to get the right location and the staff was super helpful and even tho we got to the store like 5min to closing they walked out with my order and told us to have a great night.“
