Asian Restaurants in Lebanon

“I don't pretend to be some foodie or profess to have the most refined palate.
But I do appreciate international cuisine as a Southerner for the variety and difference in what I grew up eating.
To say that Dak Der is a hidden gem is an understatement. The menu isn't large because that isn't what Panye has set out to do.
Panye wants you to feel like you're eating at his kitchen table, eating his dishes, and you are. I don't know where the Laotian begins or ends or how it collides with Thai food, but got dang, the man knows what he is doing.
I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
The vibe or atmosphere is inviting in that hole in the wall way and this is not meant as a slight, but to highlight a strength.
You can have a conversation on a date, have fun with the family, or maybe you'll get lucky and get to talk with the owner.
Either way, don't sleep on this gem. It's worth making the trip to Lebanon to try if you aren't a local.
