I was driving through town and stopped for lunch. From the outside, I didn't know what to expect. Inside everyone was very friendly. The server had the sweetest southern charm. Absolutely the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Definitely stopping
We so looked forward to the reopening. We had the chicken fried steak, and it was remarkable. Last night, we ordered for takeout, and it was terrible. I hate to complain online, but we couldn't get through by phone. My husband was missing his salad, and why they put in these fried tomatoes is beyond me. The fries were old and cold. This place was ok. It does have that down home feeling and the staff was nice. The food we got was ok. I got one of their baked potatoes, it was a little dry and the steak could have been chopped up a little more but the size of the potato was worth the money. My friend got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, it was a bit lacking to be called a philly cheese steak. Overall I would try another potato.
