Firehouse Subs Madisonville Cook always has great food and very friendly staff. This location is fairly new and offers a good experience. The subs are fresh, and if you want a hot sub, it's hot. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The place is clean with adequate staffing. Customers have never had softer bread or fresher ingredients on a sub. The Chicken bacon ranch and the New York Steamer are warm and perfectly portioned. Large sandwiches can be shared as halves. Madisonville is lucky to have a Firehouse. It is a little pricey, but compared to Subway, the quality is so much better. One order of the French Dip Sub was lacking meat and cold, and the hot Onion Dip Au Jus soup was forgotten. After calling, the order was made correctly and free with plenty of hot roast beef and the hot Au Jus dip. Firehouse Subs is worth the money even if it's more expensive. Orders through the app with several modifications have not been messed up once. Food is ready within ten minutes of the pickup time and the order has always been correct. Great tasting food and there are deals on the app. Much better meat to bread ratio than local Subway. However, be mindful of liquids on to go orders. No pickle means no pickle. A sandwich should not be a sopping wet mess. Less vinegar and oil is better than a wet sandwich.
