Made a reservation here for our sons rehearsal dinner. Arrived to be told we didn't have a reservation and they would try to make room for us. Someone definitely dropped the ball. We ended up at another restaurant nearby that welcomed us in and made it work with no wait. Very disappointing...

This is a cozy, comfortable place to eat. Kimberly, who was behind the bar, noticed that we had been waiting to be seated. After we sat she was also our waitress. She was kind and patient. The drinks were served promptly. The raspberry lemonade was delicious. The bread was very warm and tasty. The food came out soon afterwards. The ribs were a bit overcooked. The pulled pork was good the pork chop was juicy and delicious. The chicken was good as well. Thank you Kimberly for your friendly service!

I am new to Maryville. When relatives came for a visit, I took them to Calhouns because it was recommended in a local FB group. It was a Sunday AND Father's Day to boot. While there was a wait, it wasn't ridiculous. Our family loved the food and the atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. My adult niece had a hamburger that looked so delicious, I returned the following day to try one for myself. She was absolutely correct when she said it was the best burger she'd ever had! Calhouns in Maryville will definitely be somewhere I return to again and again.

Food was great, Sunshine, our server was very nice. However, the only bread that was available were very hard, dry garlic rolls. She said they don't have a baker until 4. Unfortunately, we came at 3. Poor management.
Nice people, best catfish I've had in east Tennessee, hands down, I won't eat catfish from anywhere else

The food was good. The service was even better. Dana was the type of server you dream about having. She is great at sensing your need before you even have to ask. She was great in helping us to get our leftovers packaged. Since she knew were we traveling she even brought is the things we needed to enjoy our leftovers later at the hotel. So friendly and helpful. And whoever makes your playlist is incredible! We enjoyed the music.

Went in and got seated right away. They weren’t super busy…Three different servers walked past our table (two of them twice); not one made eye contact, said hello or acknowledged us any way. We got up & left after 12 minutes… no one seemed to notice. We walked across the parking lot to Smoky Mountain Brewery and had fast & friendly service. Too bad for Calhoun’s…We tip well!

Got the brisket and the loaded baked potato. The loaded baked potato came out warm, the cheese wasn't melted and it tasted kind of old. The brisket was ok but not great and the sauce it came with was not very good. Server was very attentive and nice no problem with service at all. In summary baked potato was so bad I couldn't eat it and the brisket was just ok enough to eat but not very enjoyable.

Seems this Calhoun's was not keen to serving black families today on mother's Day! The staff kept ignoring us and helping other tables. My family and I waited 2 hours for our food and then they did not want to discount our food for the long wait as well as the order mix ups. Worst mother's day experience.
