This is a great local hometown restaurant/diner that always had the best fried chicken in town. The golden nugget dinner is also great! The mashed potatoes and gravy are one of my favorite sides. I always call ahead and order, and when I go through the drive through? It's always ready for me to pick up. Prices are affordable for what you get, and the service is always good.
This place is GOOD. It tastes EXACTLY how KFC used to, according to all of my relatives. I will never look at fried chicken the same. I would give it 10 stars if google let me. Everything is phenomenal, so just order whatever you want. The only other place I'd even consider in this area is Hickory Creek bbq. Even then, it's a tossup.

First, my meal was enjoyable. I was a little surprised that a place that advertises a country breakfast served country ham with the bone removed and every piece of fat removed from it. So the ham was a bit dry and tasteless. Not what I expected for a country ham breakfast. My eggs and grits, very good. Biscuits and gravy, very good. The service was great, and I tipped well.
