“Can you please add gravy or no gravy to the chicken and dressing on your menu? I don't like gravy on mine. Also please add more cranberry sauce to the chicken and dressing. The amt. is so scant. Also we need to have a choice of pie when we order. You send whatever you have the most of it seems. And I've ordered tea and haven't got recently. I order fairly frequently from dumplins. “New to town and wanted something fresh for lunch and found this place scrolling around on Google maps. My group tried 3 of their sandwiches and everyone really enjoyed them. Box lunch is a deal that comes with your sandwhich, choice of a side (we did potato and mac salad, potato was the fave), a drink, and a large homemade cookie. Cookies were amazing! Price was 11.50 per box lunch at the time of this review, very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food you get. Also, the ladies behind the counter were nice as can be, new lunch spot for sure!“

“My friend and I ate dinner at Dixie Castle II.We got there around 5:20 because Friday evenings can be busy. By the time we were leaving it was very crowded. The grilled chicken was very tasty along with a side salad. My friend had the filet Mignon and I tasted it, it was also very good. It's a very hometown feel cafe.“

“I rarely dine in very often. I’m a take out girl to my core. So this review is based off of carry out. I’m definitely glad that menu board was given an upgrade. The food is always delicious to me. The only thing I’ve found that I’m not fond of has got to be the pickles. They have a usual taste to me. I have always loved pickles with my grilled cheese but with this restaurant I typically say hold the pickles. Not sure of the brand but not a fan.“

“Wife and I went her for our 35th wedding anniversary. All the food and the service were great. I had the bone-in ribeye that was cooked a perfect medium and she had tomahawk chops. Place is a little dimly lit but it was nice for a romantic getaway.“

There were so many choices for Appetizers we order a bunch of them. By the time we got our Entrée's we were quite full. Brylie, our server was most accommodating and made sure our orders were made to our specifications. She kept coming back to make sure all was fine and kept refilling our glasses. The owner Aaron also came by a few times to make sure we were totally happy with our meals. If you look at the pictures below I'm sure you'll see the portions are Plentiful and L@@k Delicious. She knew her job and she is good at it, she was patient with us. I did not know exactly what I wanted, she was attentive and courteous. THANKS Samantha T.! The world can take notes from you; it would be a better place if everyone had your kind demeanor. I would definitely recommend this place. The ice cream and the Great America cookies are PHENOMENAL!! “Went there for an early dinner. Waitress was busy so another lady took our drink orders which was 2 waters. Our waitress finally appeared and we explained to her that another lady had taken our drink orders but she never delivered them. Our original waitress ended up getting our drinks and then took our order. Evidently the original waitress was slammed with customers but when she was able she did check with us frequently asking us if there was anything else we needed. We will return in the future.“

Family owned and operated, a Jackson Staple. The look and feel of a comfortable pub, bar and restaurant.

Come in the front doors and hang a left for the restaurant with smaller bar side. On your right is the big bar for the evening crowd.

Great menu of sandwiches, salads, soups and entrees.

Assortment of fried delectable as appetizers. Lots of choices and variety on the menu.

Today we tried the grilled chicken sandwich with tots. Grilled chicken sando was excellent. Bummers warm, soft and had been toasted on the flat top. Chicken was hot, fresh grilled and seasoned perfectly. Tots were not and crispy.

The Club sandwich is very good. Lots of meats and good toasted bread. The house-made chips are thick and seasoned in a chili powder seasoning.

The Rueben was good. It was Reuben-esque. The onion rings were great, a very thin batter. There were plenty to go around.

The fried shrimp basket included crispy, large, tail-on shrimp. Fried and served hot. The fries were good. The coleslaw was chopped, sweet and creamy. The hush puppy was a little dense and not as sweet as some.

Plenty of refills. Friendly, efficient service.

Full bar options and beers on tap.

You can tell this is a fun night spot. Decorated with sports and Irish references and giraffes 🦒 abound!

“Visited today for lunch with a friend. We had a complex order and a Trainee. The order was done correctly, however, the amount wasn't. It was meant to be shared but they brought out two whole orders instead. Which was also fine. It tasted absolutely fresh and delicious.
Both the Trainee and server were awesome. Punctual often checking on us drinks refreshed often. I felt like some kind of royalty to be checked on as often as we were. It was great!! Need more servers as good as she/they were. Not busy at time and clean. We will return.“
