It has a wonderful view AND atmosphere. The real jewels of The place are the bartenders. Our bartender Chris C. Was nothing less of AMAZING! Bartender isn’t the right word, he is a mixologist. And a dang good one! He was very attentive. Not to mention he is MASTER at mixing drinks. He made me fall in love with a dirty martini. If you like then dirty ask for the “ Mississippi River dirty martini”.

The drinks were okay—not particularly mind-blowing. Prices were pretty similar to what I’d pay at a regular bar in NYC, so not exactly cheap, but not completely unexpected either.
I honestly can’t remember exactly what I ordered, but I’m pretty sure it was the Memphis Buck: Old Dominick Blonde Whiskey, peach syrup, lemon juice, Angostura bitters, and Fever-Tree ginger beer.

Beck & Call is a fantastic place to grab a drink before or after a show at the Orpheum or Canon center. The spacious bar features stunning views of the Mississippi River, especially during sunset. While the drinks may be a bit pricey, the atmosphere is lively, making it a great spot for socializing. The outdoor area shines during nice weather. The fries serve as a decent snack, but the real highlight is the expertly crafted cocktails made by knowledgeable bartenders. Recently, Malika has been praised for her exceptional customer service, handling busy nights with a pleasant demeanor and quick service. Guests have shared that her friendly approach and attention to detail make the experience even better, ensuring that everyone feels welcome. Beck & Call is definitely a must-visit destination for great drinks and a memorable time in Memphis.
