Ben Yay's Reviews
First time here the food was awesome & the bartender/ waitress was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back to try the drinks!
We came to brunch on Father’s Day and Carrie was our server. She was awesome. We had the Deja Vu special and fried green tomatoes with crab. It was our first time there and we had a blast!!

Ben Yay's in Memphis is a must-visit spot with stellar service and atmosphere. The family loved the beignets, which were nice and warm, and the most light, heavenly beignets ever. The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. The food was amazing, with every bite just getting better—try the jambalaya, blackened chicken, fried green tomatoes, Caesar salad, and excellent catfish. Chef Tony ensures everything is super fresh and made to order. Despite the weird vibes upon entering, the friendly bartender and ridiculously nice servers like Ashley make the experience better. The restaurant charges an 18% or 20% gratuity, which may be a downside for some. Overall, Ben Yay's is a great place for Sunday brunch, offering delicious food and top service, though they sometimes run out of items like crab and bread pudding. It’s worth a visit whenever you're in town.
