Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint Memphis TN

Went for lunch with coworkers. Had the Cobra KAI and sweet potato fries. Both were very good. Will go back to try some of the other speciality burgers they offer!

We reminded the short but large long haired bartender that we had been sitting outside for 30 minutes and had seen no waiter. He responded “cool” so we left.

Very casual burger place. Midtown Memphis, neighborhood vibes. Great selection of beer....most anything you want to try. I've never had a bad burger or a bad experience here. Consistency is awesome!

This was my 15th visit, so I figured it was finally time to leave a review! The burgers here never disappoint. They’re always cooked fresh to order, served piping hot, and incredibly juicy. The burgers are medium-sized, but they also offer a double burger option.

I usually choose the regular cheeseburger, but this time I tried the “Chiflet,” made with Snake River Farms Wagyu beef and topped with applewood smoked bacon, egg, and American cheese on a potato bun. Absolutely delicious!

They also feature a daily burger special, which keeps the menu interesting. The crinkle fries are consistently hot and pair perfectly with the burgers. On top of that, they offer a great selection of both imported and domestic beers.

Overall, it’s a great spot to grab a burger, hang out, and enjoy the atmosphere.

I was CRAAAAAVING a good BURGER…. and Jack Brown’s DELIVERED. This place is a vibe, you definitely need to bring a friend or two!! Sports & Music, Bar & GREAT burgers. Their special sauce compliments pretty much anything you get there & their cheese fries are soooo delicious. It was hard to give them anything below a 5 star!! 10/10 got to have this restaurant in my rotation ATLEAST once every 2 weeks LOL!!!! Server with the cute glasses is super nice!! A top 3 burger in town that is consistently good and affordable. I get a different burger just about every time and nothing disappoints. Service is always friendly and fast. And who doesn’t like a fried Oreo?

My husband has been bothering me to go ever since the first time we left. That was 5 months ago 😂 He loves it!! We had great burgers AND the sides. Dont be afraid to try the Elvis—they know what they’re doing.

I crave Jack Brown’s burgers. Like mouthwatering craving. They have the best burger in Memphis without a doubt. I get the Classic Jack, no modifications, with a side of fries. The JB Sauce is killer on both the burgers and the fries. I’m pregnant and craving a burger, and this burger and fries is everything I wanted it to be and more. Pricing is good, too. I enjoy every experience at this restaurant. Definitely a college bar vibe. It’s the sort of place with so much on the walls that you’ll notice something new every time you go, which I love. It feels very local, like with Polaroid photos on the wall. Some of the decor is not kid friendly (albeit it’s a bar so duh). My husband and I joke that we will take our kids here on their 21st birthdays and finally buy them the best burger in town.
Only thing I’d mention that you need to think ahead about is that the place is small and it can be hard to seat everyone at one table if you have a bigger party and it’s right at a meal time rush. A larger party came in after we had sat at the only table that was left. A man at a small table ended up leaving, so we shifted to that table so that the bigger group could take the table for 6. Just be aware of that and arrive before the rush if you have a larger group.
It’s worth any wait you might have. If you visit, it will be the start of a JB addiction. You won’t want to go anywhere else for a burger. Consider yourself warned.
