Mammy’s Dish Ethiopian Restaurant and Bar is a highly recommended spot for great Ethiopian food. The food is always good, with meals like the beef tibs, two vegetable combos, Doro wot, and a veggie platter to share. The salmon, cooked with peri peri seasoning, is cut into juicy savory morsels. The restaurant atmosphere is very happy and social, with great fellowship and no rush. Mammy is so awesome and runs the place as a 1 woman show, so if it is more than 2 people, it is best to call ahead. The service is very inviting, attentive, and helpful. The meal starts with incense and house made popcorn. The owners are very hospitable. Coffee will have a different price on the weekends. The restaurant has great hours and is a nice option outside of the downtown area.
