We got two glasses of Pinot Noir but the wine was too sweet so we switched to Merlot but that was also too sweet. We were all quite hungry, but unfortunately, still found the food mediocre. The salad dressing was too salty and sour. Tried it with grated cheese and without, but it made no difference. Entrees didn't have enough salt and sauces were bland. Excellent and exacting service. Waitress gave us what we needed before we asked for it. She made the experience wonderful. She knew the menu and easily responded to our menu questions. Food was delicious, consistent and always excellent.
I have to say, I'm not really a fan of pasta, which means there's not a lot for me to eat at Olive Garden. Also, I'm gluten free, so that really limits my selection.
They do have a gluten free pasta, which I had with meat sauce. The pasta was okay...no GF pasta is great. That's just how it is. I was really disappointed in the sauce. It did not taste like I was eating an Italian restaurant.
