A last minute date night decision was a wonderful surprise. Valet is validated, food was wonderful and service was excellent. My new in town fave spot!
We enjoyed our dinner at Capriccio Grill at the Peabody very much. My salmon was some of the best I've ever eaten, beautifully seared and perfectly cooked inside. I also loved the wilted spinach and grilled asparagus. The Spaghetti Bolognese was very good, as well. Pro tip: We had a later reservation, and the dining room was quiet while we were there. Lots of kids stay at the Peabody, so earlier reservations might not be as quiet.
Was looking forward to the regular menu, but they had a Mother's Day menu instead. The pasta dishes we were looking forward to were not available. Would not have booked here had we had known ahead of time. The special (beef Wellington) was overpriced and underwhelming and is not even an Italian dish. Was really looking forward to Italian food. Definitely missed the mark on Mother's Day! The rose at the end of our meal was a nice touch and the drinks were great.
