I hadn't eaten here in a very long time, due to my last experience which was horrible to say the least. I ate here this past Saturday, and I much say the food was hot, and very tasty. I can say that you can tell there has been changes to this establishment just by how delicious the food tasted.
I arrived at closing time on the dot! I wasn’t aware Steak n Shake closed at 9 pm! Well I gotta say I pulled up to the window and the young lady that greeted was very polite. I apologized for coming at closing time. My wife and I have been on the road for 12 hours coming out of Austin TX. Anyway, the young lady I believe she said her name was Sham insisted I give her my order. What an awesome thing to do she could have sent me on my way. She was so gracious I just wish more...
I love Steak n Shake food, always have. Use to come to this one until we moved to Texas almost three years ago. I think its gone downhill some since then. I had my 12yr old daughter with me and my 3year old son with me. They didn't give me a children's menu or anything fun for my son. No hats, just nothing. Also, I said I was gonna get a shake to go and towards the end of our meal our waiter asked if I wanted him to put it in, but when he brought the bill he hadn't...
