The Butcher Shop Steakhouse Reviews
My wife and I went there for our anniversary last night. The steak and potato was both cold by the time it reached our table. The steak had no flavor. It was as if it was put on the grill and removed without any type of basting applied. For the price, I expected better.
The steak was cooked correctly but had absolutely no flavor/seasoning to it. My husband got the cajun shrimp pasta and it was so spicey he couldn't even eat half of it. Our server was friendly & efficient and the desserts were the best thing they brought us. The atmosphere was very noisy. I felt like I was in a bar instead of a steakhouse. To ensure we wont be back they automatically added a 20% gratuity without any type of prior warning.
Great place to eat. Top notch

The Butcher Shop Steakhouse offers a varied dining experience. While some customers have expressed disappointment with the numerous upcharges and automatic 20% tip, others have praised the great food and excellent service. The grilled chicken breast and loaded baked potato are notable dishes, and the crab cakes are good, albeit with limited filling. The NY strip steak, however, has received mixed reviews. The staff have been commended for their patience and cordial service, particularly with large parties. The restaurant remains a destination worth revisiting for some, despite some inconsistencies.
The restaurant could benefit from a renovation, as the building and interior could use some attention to attract more customers. On Fridays, the restaurant offers a burger bar starting at noon, which has proven to be popular, with a full parking lot and a line out the door. The burgers are precooked and then brought up to the grill to be cooked more thoroughly and heated up. Customers can choose from a burger or cheeseburger, as well as a salmon sandwich and a few other options. Sides such as fries and onion rings are available for an additional cost.
Despite the mixed reviews, the food at The Butcher Shop Steakhouse has been described as exquisite, with the bone-in pork chop, marinated chicken, and twice-baked potato being particularly notable. The atmosphere is also praised, with a fine dining feel. The service, particularly from the waitress Dee, has been commended as well.
