“Very convenient to out of towners planning on attending a concert at the Caverns, the Smokehouse Lodge and Cabins is a rare gem in tiny Monteagle, TN. The staff is all incredibly friendly, and super helpful. On my most recent stay, I forgot my favorite pillow in my haste to get home after a long weekend out of town. The housekeeping staff turned it into the office, and the staff emailed me offering to ship it back to me. I have always loved staying here, and will always suggest it to anyone heading to the greater Pelham area for any reason!“

“We took a mini vacation and ended up finding this place on our way home ! What a neat little place to eat at . Onion rings were really good.. everyone at our table tried different things .. chicken tenders , pulled pork sandwich, salad , bacon cheeseburger. Service was very fast , our waitress was super nice and waited on us every 10 mims to make sure we had everything we needed. There was a band playing during our meal as well! Hope to stop again in our travels sometime down the road“

“My family loved this place. We stopped through to stay at the Smoke House Hotel coming home from a trip and went to the Patio for dinner. It’s a small eclectic space, with live music every Fri and Sat, and the food was good with generous portions. We highly recommend the fried okra and fried pies with ice cream, both were amazing! We loved the atmosphere and friendly people and hope to visit again. You could bring your family, come on a date, or to hang out with friends. Don’t let the location or look of the place scare you away-this place is a real gem.“

“I liked it! Service was nice, the waitress was fast and very sweet. I got the hand breaded and fried chicken tender sandwich with onion rings and it was good and hot. The live music was a little gospel focused but nice background noise! Bring your own alcohol if you can/want, grab a sandwich, and listen to the live music for a few hours. I had a great time!“

“We had a delightful breakfast at the Blue chair Cafe. The gravy was some of the best we've ever had, especially at a restaurant. We enjoyed talking with Jimmy the owner and swapping stories about Sewanee University. and the history of the town. Definitely a must try!“
