Great food very slow service and not very friendly at the festival in Cumberland gap.
Tasted at Ebony and Ivory in Knoxville.
Food was amazing !
Good prices and excellent food!
I had the sweet chicken skewers and plantain chips. The chicken was perfect:crisp on the outside super tasty and juicy.

I good place to eat with friends and family
Best native puertorican food around these parts. Good food takes time making it, so be patient and enjoy good dishes made with love. Sabroso!
Best Macaroni salad ever!!! 💯💯💯
They cook very delicious, authentic food. Their alcapuria and pinchos are as good as any on Puerto Rico. I know because I've been all over the island several times and am married to a Puerto Rican. If you get the chance, try their pasteles.
Unfortunately, the owner consistently lies about how long until the order is ready. Just today, I was told 20 to 25 minutes, but the food took an hour. There was hardly anyone else there. This has happened many times. One hour or more is typical in a Puerto Rican restaurant, but it's a very long time for a food truck.

Got to try this for the first time and Que Ricooo! Food made me proud to be boricua! Please come into Knoxville more!! 🇵🇷❤️🙏😇
As a Puerto Rican, I have been following this food truck for a few month in social media and we were really excited to check it out. On 6/27/24 we drove an hour to the Knoxville location.
After placing our order, we waited ~30 minutes, until we saw a customer that came after us getting his food. I asked the status and was told that they had many phone orders, but that ours would be ready in "5 minutes". After waiting the "5 minutes", 20+ minutes later, we walked to the counter, returned the "beeper" and walked away.
To be clear, this wasn't during a festival with dozens of people lined up; maybe we saw ~10 people coming & going while we were there.
I honestly can't comment on the taste of the food (which apparently is very good, according to many reviews), but unfortunately, I'll never know.
Perhaps they were overwhelmed with too many orders, which I am very happy for them that they are thriving. But if that's the case, they should let people know that it will take an hour before they order.
My gut feeling is that our order got "lost" and was never prepared until I approached the counter. But if you are going to try them out, do yourself a favor and call ahead...

My husband and I have wanted to try the Puerto Rican Smoke truck for a long time and we finally had the chance. I can’t say it was worth the $40 we spent or the 40 minutes we waited for it. You do get a lot of food and We probably could have a shared one dish. We both like the chicken on a stick. It’s a huge stick of chicken. We got the sweet flavor and it was juicy and well cooked. Neither of us cared for the plantains, but I think we were expecting the more soft sweet plantains that are still soft like a banana. The smashed fried plantains were dry and kind of hard. My husband ordered the fried pork with plantains. The pork was so dry and hard to chew that he didn’t eat but two bites. The macaroni salad was decent. Different than southern style macaroni salad but still good. I would say it’s Macaroni salad with a bit of a twist. I got an order or the Guineo Alcapurrias. The picture showed what looked like three small fritter type items but this was one large almost baked potato size item. It was flavorful, but greasy inside. We threw away more than half our food so I would definitely say share. I can’t say for sure If I would go back again. Overall not what I expected. Not all bad and not all great.

Do not book to serve at your facilities. They are not dependable. I have had them scheduled 5 times to serve employees that are depending on these trucks to show up and they have only shown up 1 time (they do not even call or message that they are not coming, I schedule trucks in advance so they have all my contact info if they can't make it). I realize we all have things that can come up and I want my trucks to know I appreciate them letting me know in advance when they can't make it. I will not invite them back.
