“I just moved here from upstate NY where they had the most wonderful donut place. So I decided to try different ones in the area to see if I could find another favorite. I had gone to 5 places and was just about to give up, then I went here.This donut shop offers variety, cleanliness, freshness, and friendliness. Oh, and deliciousness. I haven't tried them all yet but my favorite so far is the cronut. Omw! Melt in your mouth. Can't wait for next Sunday!! The only recommendation I would have is if you are ordering more than 2, ask for a small box. I got 4 and she put them in a bag. The bottom one, which was a white cream filled chocolate frosted donut, got smushed and all the chocolate frosting got stuck to the waxed paper she put in between each donut. Though messy, it was still yummy!“

“We are here tonight as one of the things on my list I have to eat at one more time before we move to another state next week. I will start by saying I am a huge fan and have have been since he only had one shop. When I drive Uber and riders ask where to go for BBQ I always sent freer to Martin’s and to try redneck tacos with brisket. I never tell people to go to places that I don’t eat at myself. I was reading thru the reviews and this one I felt the need to respond to. Great food but feel they should give you more 🤷🏻‍♂️ I always like this particular type of comment. No intended disrespect to this customer. Having worked in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years, the restaurants are there to make some profits as well. The cost of giving people a “living wage” and the cost of the covid-related supply chain issues have given owners two options, raise prices and wages or be forced out of business. A well run restaurant always tried for about 30-35% food cost and about. 25% cost of labor. That left in the neighborhood of 40% to pay everything else like rent, utilities, insurance and all the other monthly bills plus all the taxes that continually rise. If you own a building with a business in it the taxes went up tremendously after everything had been shut down by covid. At the grocery store the prices of most meats have almost doubled, other prices people think have stayed the same, the packages have shrunk. We ate at this particular restaurant the commenter was rating. I ordered what was supposed to be a meal for one person with two sides. I at about 2/3 of it and had to give up. My wife couldn’t finish her regular plate with two sides. Was the price high, yes, but the food was great.“

We had the best first time experience at MoriMori than I think we've ever had as far as first times go. We'd never been here before. Our waiter was fantastic!! He had suggestions from the drinks to the appetizers and our meal! The food we had was absolutely amazing! So many new flavors in my mouth. I cannot say enough, this place was a 10!!! Have been changes at the bar and in my life since then, so I don't go nearly as often. But the 2 times I've been this month have been a good indication that new changes are going in great directions.
