“want to start by saying the food was amazing, as always. My wife and I come here every Monday night, and the quality is consistently great. We’ve always had positive experiences with the staff and the management, which is why what we witnessed this time stood out so much.

While we were there, a customer was being extremely disrespectful and rude to the employees. We were seated near the drink area and could clearly hear everything. This individual actually threw his food on the ground and took a picture of it, which was shocking to see. The young man with the glasses handled the situation very professionally—he apologized sincerely and even offered to remake the food and provide a cookie, despite the customer’s behavior.

We personally know the manager, and he always makes sure that customers are taken care of. The staff genuinely tries their best, so it was hard to believe how rude and aggressive that customer was, especially since he appeared to be associated with Vanderbilt.

It’s also worth mentioning that the store was completely clean when we arrived. We were there before that group, and the place was spotless—clean enough that you could eat off the floors. By the time they left, the area was completely destroyed, which clearly was not the fault of the staff.

Overall, the employees handled a very difficult situation with patience and professionalism. That customer clearly had personal issues and took them out on the staff, which was unfair. We just wanted to make sure the workers and management are recognized for doing an excellent job despite being treated poorly.“

“I needed a small sandwich tray for a last minute event. Ashley and the owner made my day as they patiently helped me decide what would work best. The owner praised his staff by saying he had an excellent crew at moment who are pros with catering orders. He assured me that the order could be ready within 30 minutes and it was. The owner went above and beyond by loading my order into the car. The ham & turkey sandwiches were flavorful, filling, and a big hit! What a great team!“
