my iced chai latte was $9. when i asked the cashier to see my receipt (i’ve never paid so much for a NORMAL CHAI in my life), she shoved the receipt in my face and was so absolutely rude. my chai was gross, the customer service was gross, the prices are gross. avoid this coffee shop at all costs.

I gave it another try because there was literally nothing else open nearby. I just poored out my coffee because it was just so burnt tasting. So so overcosted as

New, modern hotel in the heart of downtown and walkable to most attractions.

Ordered Americano and it came out just after my receipt was signed. Took a sip and inquired if made with espresso. “Barista” said yes, but it 100% tastes like a standard drip coffee. $6.50 not well spent. Will head to the JW for next few days.

Mocha latte and iced chai tea were great. Service was fast and friendly. Just the pick-me-up we needed in the middle of the day.

I should have looked at reviews. Coffee was cold and undrinkable. Salad was soggy and smelled bad. Literally had to throw out everything and find a new place. On top of all this, it’s waaaaaay too overpriced. Avoid this place at all costs.

***This is a review of the beans only***I picked up a bag of “Hang Tough” beans at my local Publix because I was out and thought these would work in a pinch and at the same time I thought it’d be nice to support somewhere local. Well, it was quite the mistake to be honest and I would probably never buy Good Citizen coffee again, or at least not from the Grocery store. I have had coffee from probably near a 1000 different roasters across the US and these have to be some of the worst. I have tried them using various methods (chemex, v60, Clever, and French press). Every method I’ve tried, has disappointed. The reason being, is because the coffee is so bitter and taste like it was burnt during the roasting process. It almost tastes like a pack of cigarettes, especially the first few sips. After a few sips in, it is a bit more tolerable. Overall, it’s pretty bad considering the price. Do not recommend.

It tastes like old decaf. With so many good dark roast coffee brands and beans out there why offer this. It's like old gas station coffee. Please change this before you get a bad reputation. Adults need good coffee in the morning. Especially when it's over 8 bucks.

Acidic coffee.. not my thing.. can taste on the first sip. Should have seen the reviews, bought it coz we stayed at the Embassy Suites. Worse i ask for extra shot of espresso. Waste of my money. 16oz latte with no flavor. BAD COFFEE.

The worst tasting “coffee” I have ever had. I’ve lived all over the US, travel a lot and have also been to other countries. This coffee tastes like the smell of an ash tray. $17 for two iced coffees and we ended up putting in the trash.
