Husband and I showed up here and stood there for quite a while without any hello or acknowledgement from the lady behind the counter, so we left. Not a good impression.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great experience. I'm not a wine conniesuer, but they were excellent.

Great wine, Great Vibes, and an Amazing Host!

We visited Grinders Switch Winery on Saturday afternoon (April 18) to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday with a wine and cheese pairing, and it was a fantastic experience.

We were paired with another couple, Tyler (I believe) and Elizabeth, who were visiting from Indiana, which made the tasting even more enjoyable and social.

Ariel, our host and bartender, was outstanding—very knowledgeable, personable, and created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that really elevated the experience.

My fiancé and Ariel even connected over plant propagation, and now we’re planning to come back to learn more about the “magic plant powder” she mentioned 😂

Overall, we highly recommend Grinders Switch Winery. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a unique and laid-back outing, it’s definitely worth a visit.

I have come to Grinder’s Switch twice now for a weekend wine tasting, and both times I have really enjoyed the vibe, the wines, and the pairings. I got a bottle this time and can’t wait to go back!

Grinder Switch Winery at Marathon Village is such a fun spot. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it’s an easy place to hang out whether you’re doing a full Marathon Village day or just popping in for a drink. The wine selection has a little something for everyone, and it’s a great way to switch up the usual Nashville plans.

The staff is friendly and makes the experience feel approachable (even if you’re not a wine expert). If you’re looking for a laid-back place to sip and unwind in Marathon Village, Grinder Switch is definitely worth a stop.
