I had the chicken, okra, and Mac n cheese and it was finger licking good. I promise Im going back tomorrow. Had to call my family to tell them about it . Everything was hot and tasted fabulous. My 1st visit but not my last.

Ate here again today, 2/24/26. Christian was our server and he was exceptional. Such a professional and courteous young man. Food was deeee-lish and fresh. Dined in but also placed 2 carry out orders. One order was the 2 pc white snack. Disappointed to get home and see a THIGH instead of a breast. Plan to call and let them know, but this was not on Christian. He was excellent. Thanks Christin!

We loved our lunch at Gus’s! The hush puppies were delicious, and the chicken was incredible! So moist and crispy. Our waitress Destiny was so lively and made sure that our food was perfect :)

Found this place while exploring Nashville on my last trip. I knew the chain was featured on the Travel Channel so I stopped in for some of the best chicken I've ever had. The spice level was just right to give it a good flavor. Chicken was tender and juicy. I got the baked beans and Mac n cheese for sides, both just as good. Was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff when I walked in. Jennifer was my server and explained the restaurant, the food, and some of the history of the place as this was my first time here. Highly recommend this place of you like some good chicken.

Everything was fresh and mostly delicious the collards weren’t seasoned but with hot sauce and salt they’re doable, the Mac n cheese was a lil extra but good the chicken was AMAZING as was the sweet tea. Pay more Attention to the collards and it would be a solid 5. My server was a hustler and Great at his job he’s a 10/10 and his name was Kristian. This was my first time here my son fell in love so we will definitely take the hour drive to go back again
