House of Hickory BBQ is a hidden local gem that offers delicious food and friendly service. The turkey ribs are a must-try, perfectly seasoned and moist. Their lemonade is fantastic, and sides like turnip greens and macaroni and cheese are really good. The staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating. If you're looking for non-pork barbecue options, this is the place to go. The catfish is also tasty, though a bit salty. Visitors from out of town were pleasantly surprised by the turkey ribs and overall experience, and plan to stop by again before leaving.
