So delicious. I recommend making a reservation instead of just going on a whim.
Bottom line is, the food is good food. However, if I want to eat Thai food I would not come here. Initially everything on the table was disappointing, but when I stopped thinking about none of the four dishes we tried tasting the way I expected it to I was able to enjoy the food, except for the shumai, that was genuinely bad. It just tasted like dough and sorghum or molasses.
Overall, would I go back? Only if someone else I was with wanted to go. I wouldn't oppose going, but it would never be my personal pick.
This is a fantastic restaurant. We eat here frequently since they opened, and the food is delicious. We love the flavors, the expert preparation, and the use of top-quality ingredients. The owners are the chef and the front of the house manager, and we have never experienced a problem with the food or the service. We have seen little turnover of the staff over many years, and I always view that as the sign of a very well-run restaurant. Their special dinners that happen a few times a year are worth the splurge too.
We feel lucky they are in the neighborhood.
Always a good meal and friendly service!!
It smells so bad in there….but they have many fruit that the grocery store doesn’t
This is really one of the most consistently fun and interesting restaurants jn town. Everything is always tasty. Staff are great and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. We are so lucky to have IM in the neighborhood.
The food here was delicious. Duck lo mein, crab fried rice, and the prawn special. A little on the pricier side for the portions and how casual the restaurant is (the main dishes were $30), but the food is seriously tasty. This is the best fried rice I’ve ever tasted. Some other spots try to do crab fried rice and it’s so disappointing. This was full of flavor and SO MUCH CRAB MEAT. The duck in the duck lo mein was so flavorful and had the crispiest bits of duck. The shrimp prawn dish ($18) was good until we realized it was a little too undercooked in some spots for our liking. It was not a big issue as the waiter resolved it for us. Would come back!
Pad krapao is delicious, provided with a side of perfectly spiced powder.
Staff is friendly and polite, nice service.
Expensive for the quantity provided but quality is good!
I hadn’t been in years and I was blown away. Several vegan options and I can’t wait to go back.
Just finished a chef collaboration- Arnold and Maneet. Everything was delicious- service was great and dishes were timed perfectly.
I'm certainly a fan. 5 stars.

I had the most wonderful experience celebrating Valentine's Day at International Market! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The host was super sweet and genuinely made us smile. Our reservation was LITERALLY right at closing, we were late, and we were the last table in the restaurant, so shout out to our server for not making us feel like a bother. He was super charismatic and offered some great suggestions of cocktails.
The food was absolutely fantastic and our rice even came in the shape of a heart which was super cheesy and super cute! The spicy impossible dumplings were my favorite thing of the night but my boyfriend would argue it was the shrimp.
Another highlight was how inclusive and welcoming the restaurant was. As an LGBTQ+ couple, it's always refreshing to feel comfortable and celebrated, and International Market certainly does that.
Thank you to the team for creating such a lovely and memorable experience for us. We'll definitely be back for more amazing meals and great vibes! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dinner in a welcoming atmosphere.
closest thing to a religious experience I’ve experienced
WOW! That’s the only thing I have to say is WOW!! Before I could eat anything, my eyes were jumping all around the restaurant looking at all the different meals and smells. I was in complete disbelief, and had NO idea what to eat! Literally everything looked good… once decided, I had the Tofu Green Curry! It was vegan and gluten free! The meal made me want to melt in my seat. I also enjoyed a refreshing “Bubbly” (lychee vodka champagne drink). I was in cloud 9. This place felt like home!! The atmosphere was cozy, yet welcoming! The music was fantastic. Everything was clean and prepared FAST!!
Now, about me server Jake.. 10/10! He was killing it today. I would remember asking for him!! You won’t regret coming here. Honestly.. this place deserves a Michelin star.

I could see why they were James Beard runner ups, with a bit more care and effort they should be able to get there.
The food - outstanding for ingredients, and depth of flavour. BUT, the rice, potatoes and root vegetables were a bit undercooked - that is not passable at this level.
Service - friendly. Seemed to be too many on hand idling about. Could be run a bit tighter.
Atmosphere - pretty chill, well done.

Our family had dinner this evening. We were visiting from out of town. Everything was perfect from the hostess to chef. Our food was delicious and a great mixture of flavors. We definitely will come back the next time we are in town.
