Proper Bagel is the BEST bagel shop around! I have never seen so many freshly made cream cheeses to select from; my daughter and I are obsessed with the iced chai tea latte (it literally tastes like pumpkin pie); you’ll probably see a line, but don’t let that deter you! Their system works - line goes through quickly! It’s a must go-to!
So...Facebook asks..."What do you recommend about Proper Bagel?" The answer is...everything! As a transplant from the northeast CT-NY-NJ "tri-state area" down to the south, it's tough finding bagels and the like in the Northern Alabama / Tennessee areas here that I remember from growing up. Yes, you will have to wait (usually 15ish minutes) but it's a small business doing their best. The Proper Crew is always kind and helpful, and I love the diversity and individuality I see every visit!
