The food and service was excellent. Robert did an absolutely outstanding job taking care of us. The only drawback was the location of a new bar in the dining room - extremely loud and disruptive for a desired quiet dinnner.
Everything was fabulous!! Loved that they added a Happy Hour”! Our food was delicious - from the bone marrow appetizer, to the Duck remoulade, to the halibut as entrees! The creamed corn crème brûlée was outstanding and if course the brownie dessert was decadent. Most importantly was our server, Jessica! She was so fun, knowledgeable and just a joy! We look forward to going back again soon!!
The food was excellent and well seasoned. Our server wasn't as interactive with us as he was with other diners. Had he taken the time to explain the menu as thoroughly with us as he did others, we would have ordered differently.
Our waiter Jeff did a remarkable job explaining the menu. My first time to have the Wagu! 100% satisfied!
We've been here many times but the steak tonight was probably the best ever. My husband and I split the Porterhouse. It melted like butter! Our server was fabulous as well. And we loved the way they have remodeled the space downstairs.
We had to beg to be waited on at the bar. The Lemon Drop I ordered tasted as though I was sucking on a raw lemon. Asked someone else to make me one and it was better. Seated for dinner at the correct time, not many people dining. Ordered Oyster Rockafellow and they were not eatable. I do consider myself somewhat of an expert on eating oysters and I have never tasted anything as horrible as they were. Sent them back. Brought us raw oysters and they were not properly cleaned. Our dinners were the Cod prepared at the table and did not have much taste. My friend ordered the steak with crabmeat and asparagus; the steak was cooked perfectly but there was no taste to the crabmeat. I have dined at this restaurant for over 40 years and have never had a bad experience here such that I had last night. I will say that our salads were good, and the tequila was also good, but you should be able to mess up with tequila. For a $412.00 tab I would expect better quality and service. Doubtful that I will return. It looks like it will be Sperry's from now on.
First the service! Karla was on top of her game! She met our needs, explained menu differences, made sure our drinks were full. We explained we wanted to take our time bc we never do and she made sure we did just that but kept us checked on and even had the perfect amount of socialization. We felt like a priority and could tell she makes all tables feel that way. Second, the food! Beef Wellington was spot on, salads are huge, Brussels are delicious and the steaks melt in your mouth! Great way to spend my wife’s birthday! Thanks Karla and JK!
Delicious Food, loved learning the history of Jimmy Kelly 's Steakhouse, and way the space has changed over the last 90 years.

One person in our party had the special and said it was wonderful. The other persons had the fillet that was done to perfection. I hadn't been in a while and was not aware of the renovations. Personally,, I preferred the room with the fountain. There are move steps to navigate and for a person that is slightly handicapped (like me) it was a bit of a struggle. Steve was our server and took wonderful care of us. We will ask for him again. Thanks Steve.
I have to say it is one of our best experiences that we've had at Jimmy Kelly's. The food was fabulous. The special was great. Our waiter, which was Grandon was so polite, very attentive, and knew all about the menu. we sure hope they continue the monthly specials. Oh, by the way, the pumpkin cheesecake on the three course special was divine. It was made in the house and so delicious.

What a refreshing change to take advantage of the 3-course special at Jimmy Kelly's. In addition to the classic atmosphere and exceptional service...the introduction the special put a huge exclamation point on the value of this dining experience. Oh and the quality of the food? Superb. A very satisfying dinner out. We'll see you again soon.
We had a great experience from the staff to the excellent dishes!!!

The best Filet dinner we have had in a while. Beyond Excellent! The place has been remodeled as well, Beautiful! The prices have gone up from what we were used to paying. Everything now is al a carte. Our Server was fantastic! She was always on top of our needs.
Nice new remodel. Pretty pricey but good for a special treat.. Usually pretty quiet we just happened to score a table next to 10-12 very young girls who thought they were at the playground . Management did a good job of asking Romper Room to use their inside voices, LOL. We'll be back!
The dinner was excellent. We had the special which included a filet, salad, grits, asparagus and dessert. Under new management and really trying to step it up with good service and good food. Lots of rooms in an old house which makes it more intimate than a large one room restaurant.
