Nashhouse So Amazing. & I Love This Dance & Live Music With My Honey Julie.

The meatloaf was terrible. The smashed potatoes were dry, very little on my plate. The tomato gravy was uninspired. It tasted like blended tomatoes with no seasoning at all. I've had better at hospital cafeteria's. The service was ok, though instead of seating me individually, they walked me to my table with a group of strangers which was super awkward. The atmosphere was pretty nice. But as you can tell by my review, the food was a joke. Terrible.

Well.... food was excellent nothing to say against it. But the service.... i wait 15 minut at the main entrance manager came and ask me if i was served. I told him not finally i got a table, then my server really dont want to serve me. I ordered an appetizer with a drink then he flew with the menu, i had to ask him the menu again i re order a new drink before the first was done according the slow service i finally order my meal was excellent. Finally got my drink when i was out of water and drink. Thanks to the new customer who walk in it was enough for him to see everything was empty.... option for tip was 20 25 or 30% we were more about 5% its bad cause it could one of the best experience in nashville. Poor chef, rhe quality of the service affect the whole experience even if my food was EXCELLENT i wont really recommend the place.... the service worth nothing around 100$

The Southern Spoon: Great Food, Terrible Service

I really wanted to like The Southern Spoon, but after my experience last Saturday night, I can’t recommend it. Despite the bar being nearly empty—on a Saturday night, no less—the service was shockingly bad.

After being seated, we waited. And waited. And waited. Not a single server ever came by. Eventually, I had to walk up to the bar to place my own order—which, fine. But then, after waiting even longer, I realized that no one was going to bring our drinks or food to the table either. So, I had to walk back to the bar and carry everything myself. Apparently, at The Southern Spoon, you’re your own waiter.

To be fair, the food was solid, and the drinks were well-made, but when you have to serve yourself at a sit-down restaurant, it kind of kills the experience. If I wanted to play bartender and waiter for my own table, I’d have stayed home.

Bottom line: good food, terrible service. If you go, just grab a seat at the bar—at least then you’ll know not to expect any help.

I was craving shrimp and grits. And whatever the rue was gross. Just salt was the only ingredient used. They were out was bottled water so I just got a cup of hot water. But my waitress was kind. I will not be returning the the place.

Didn’t have brisket due to a broken smoker. Bacon queso was out of a can. Sauce is really sweet. Server was great, thorough and patient

Two workers were standing up near the host stand today and wouldn’t not look up from their phones to acknowledge us, so we said hello. One looked up and said I’m not the host, I’m the bartender. Kinda rude. They could have at least said someone would be with us instead of ignoring us.

The music was great. The food was good. But even though there wasn’t many people there, the service was horrible. VERY slow and inattentive. I’m guessing that’s why it was so empty on a Saturday night. Good music though.
