Moe and his dog Moe are good people. This is, or at least was at one point, home base for the band Hard Working Americans. This also is, or at least was as of two years ago, the resting place of Todd Snider's 50th birthday Shithouse.
A treasure for local music. Mo is an absolutely fantastic being. The space sounds great, and the vibe is so cool. It's like being in some 40's tiki-inspired music club. A great place to rehearse on a stage with a sound system.
I've only experienced The Purple virtually so far during the COVID-19, What It Is shows by Todd Snider who is one of my favorite artists. They're obviously a cool set of folks there for doing these shows, the place looks right up my ally on the screen, and I can't wait to visit in person when I'm in Smashville next time!
