I had a really high hopes for this place. I was so disappointed. On the surface it's very comparable to mas tacos up the road. But that's where the comparisons and. I would never choose this place again if I could have mas tacos instead. We waited in line for 40 minutes. And then waited on the food another 40 minutes. And they have the audacity to default the tip in the system to 25%. What am my tipping for? Where were 2 small tacos, a small nacho and Burger, NO Sides $50? The hot sauces are not good. They were all extremely hot but didn't have flavor other than just extremely hot. Overall just not a good sauce game and I didn't particularly enjoy any of the flavor profiles. I would pick ladybird taco or mas Taco over this place any day. Decor is super cute but this place really needs to level up. An hour and a half to get a couple of tacos is outrageous. I gave two stars because the decor is cute and because they're local.

My husband and I came to try the food because we heard the food was good, and it was okay. There are a lot of reasons why we won’t be going back. First, the parking situation is challenging. Second, we had to wait 45 mins for our food. I don’t know if that’s normal but we ordered one crunch wrap and two tacos, which is not a big order. I don’t know if he is a manager or on staff but a guy that works there was celebrating his birthday and a large group of his friends and family arrived over 20 mins after us and were all served before us. They had appetizers and their main course well before us. Several other people were there before us and hadn’t even been served yet either. Third, it was very challenging to find a seat. The method of taking orders and finding seating isn’t the best. As we were leaving, I asked a young woman if it was her first time and if waiting 40 mins for food was normal. She said it was her first time and the waitress taking orders told them it would take an hour for their food. The customer service needs to improve. For these reasons, I won’t be recommending the restaurant.

Our daughter has a nut allergy, so we are careful about where we eat. The owner was extremely responsive and knowledgeable, informing us the only item containing nuts is a dessert that they purchase prepackaged, so it does not come into contact with the prep area. They also reconfirmed upon our arrival. That kind of knowledge of ingredients and responsiveness is enough for 5 stars, but the food was absolutely incredible! The crunchwraps were fun and delicious. The homemade tortillas are made right where you can watch. The unique tacos were fantastic—especially the egg and bacon one. They had a super fun selection of beers with silly names. And the ‘nana pudding dessert was a huge hit with our entire party—so much so that we’re all trying to figure out how to make our own. One of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in a very long time. Thank you!!!!

Great little taco/burrito place. My wife and I got 2 tacos, a breakfast burrito, and some tortillas/queso and it was only like $30.

I had heard about red headed stranger from various people so it was time to check them out. I tried three different tacos and all of them were tasty. The service was quick when we arrived at 2pm. We passed by later on at night and it had a line out the door literally. The food was good but I probably wouldn’t stand in a long line for it. I ordered 3 tacos and wished I ordered one or two more because they are quick to disappear.

Not a fan of the desserts. The banana pudding tasted more like cheesecake, and the chocolate cake had a strange flavor almost like meat or liquid smoke. I actually ended up throwing the chocolate cake away. Also, the tortillas tasted undercooked, more like raw dough than actual tortillas.

They close at 9 daily. 10 on Friday and Saturday. The Google times are wrong.

Great food great margs - you know it.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. A margarita and Crunchwrap is the best go-to in the city.

It is uncommon to find unique twist on Tex-Mex cuisine, but this little restaurant not only adds its unique character, but nails the taste, atmosphere and customer-centered focus. Although there was a short wait getting in (and parking can sometimes be a challenge), it was all worth it for the absolutely delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area.

Came solo (with my dog) on 11-24-25 @ 11 am from IL for a day trip. Nashville is a couple hours drive for me. I have frequently been to NV. Always looking for unique places to go to that are dog friendly. Found this place unexpectedly at the last minute. While traveling with a dog, I find it very hard to find a place that will allow me to bring my old Labrador inside so I can make a food/drink order. I don’t mind sitting outside. Just hard to make order or use restroom with a dog when your solo. Parking was easy. Went inside to use the restroom then asked the gentleman at the order station the rules to bringing the dog inside. He was so polite! Told him I would go get my dog and be back to order. Upon ordering, he welcomed my dog. The gentleman asked if my dog had any special diet restrictions. A surprise to get a side of bacon for my dog! I placed an order and went outside on patio. Weather started to warm up so I was grateful the weather turned nice to sit outside. Food was yummy, plenty of people inside eating and treated my self to an old fashion and a couple tacos. I liked that the taco shell wasn’t a normal corn tortilla and tasted homemade. This place will be on my list to come back. THANK YOU!!!!! Please tell Evan thank you for his kindness. He should be recognized.
