Our daughter has a nut allergy, so we are careful about where we eat. The owner was extremely responsive and knowledgeable, informing us the only item containing nuts is a dessert that they purchase prepackaged, so it does not come into contact with the prep area. They also reconfirmed upon our arrival. That kind of knowledge of ingredients and responsiveness is enough for 5 stars, but the food was absolutely incredible! The crunchwraps were fun and delicious. I had heard about red headed stranger from various people so it was time to check them out. I tried three different tacos and all of them were tasty. The service was quick when we arrived at 2pm. We passed by later on at night and it had a line out the door literally. The food was good but I probably wouldn’t stand in a long line for it. I ordered 3 tacos and wished I ordered one or two more because they are quick to disappear.
Not a fan of the desserts. The banana pudding tasted more like cheesecake, and the chocolate cake had a strange flavor almost like meat or liquid smoke. I actually ended up throwing the chocolate cake away. Also, the tortillas tasted undercooked, more like raw dough than actual tortillas.
