Tennessee Legend Distillery - Marathon Village

The Assassin's Creed Rum is 10/10 cool place to visit in general. Tastings are a plus.

Stopped in to buy some Carmel Coffee whiskey. Purchased two bottles and a shot glass, paddle and candle. Did not look at the receipt till I got to my condo. I found out the receipt had four bottles charged to my card. I called to tell my clerk he overcharged me two bottles. He says according to Tennessee liquor license he could not credit me. So he took off the paddle and shot glass and candle which made me loose close to $30. I would have thought they could send me two bottles to my address but nothing else credited. A small place but please stay away or check clerk’s receipt for errors. My bad I guess.

Not a good experience. Bar tender was rude, spirits are novelty with added flavoring and sugar. Not quality.

I really wanted to try a lot of whiskey during my trip to Nashville, but since it was Easter Sunday, many places were closed. I was a bit disappointed at first, but luckily this place was open!
They kindly offered a free tasting of five different whiskeys, and the staff explained each one in detail while answering all of my questions. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I’m really glad I got the chance to enjoy some great whiskey during my Nashville trip. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Ben was great, a really cool place where you can try a variety of different whiskeys and moonshines, every flavor I tried was top notch.

Tennessee Legends at Marathon Village is a must-stop every time I’m in the area. The selection is great, but the staff is 100% the reason I keep coming back—they’re friendly, helpful, and actually make the experience fun instead of feeling like a quick transaction.

Huge shoutout to Kyle, Adam, Ben, and Kayla—all A++—and honestly everyone else on the team too. They’re knowledgeable, welcoming, and always make you feel taken care of. If you’re visiting Marathon Village, put Tennessee Legends on your list.

We visited Tennessee Legend on Saturday, September 6, 2025, right before a huge rainstorm rolled in. Even though they were just about to close, Cody and Sarah welcomed us in with such kindness. They took their time giving us samples and explaining each flavor, even with the storm approaching!

We ended up purchasing the peanut butter whiskey and the banana whiskey, both of which were absolutely amazing. Their hospitality and knowledge truly made our visit memorable.

We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. We highly recommend Tennessee Legend!

What stood out most was Simon’s enthusiasm it’s clear he’s genuinely passionate about whiskey, not just knowledgeable. He encouraged everyone to share their impressions, creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.
