The food was great but for a second time recently the burger was unavailable. I guess it doesn't matter since they are closing for good on May 27th. What we did have was excellent. The server (Le Ann) was tremendous. As usual no disappointments. I will be sorry to see them go.
As always, Todd (Yellow Porch manager) and team kept things running smoothly in a gracious and friendly way. We enjoy visiting with those who work at Yellow Porch and with other guests every time we are there. The pot roast was perfectly and deliciously prepared and the filet was perfectly and deliciously medium rare. The salads, broccoli and potatoes all were a treat to our taste buds and oh! Really friendly and efficient service. Small but good wine selections and priced well. All the food was very good. Paella was a hit. Chicken dish was tasty but perhaps a bit over sauced. Two different fish entrees cooked perfectly. Request for asparagus substitution was accommodated happily. Not “fancy” just a really solid dining experience, glad we went.
