Really friendly and efficient service. Small but good wine selections and priced well. All the food was very good. Paella was a hit. Chicken dish was tasty but perhaps a bit over sauced. Two different fish entrees cooked perfectly. Request for asparagus substitution was accommodated happily. Not “fancy” just a really solid dining experience, glad we went.

Outstanding

The food was great but for a second time recently the burger was unavailable. I guess it doesn't matter since they are closing for good on May 27th. What we did have was excellent. The server (Le Ann) was tremendous. As usual no disappointments. I will be sorry to see them go.

This is normally one of my favorite spots in Nashville. Our waiter was in a bad mood and it was apparent in his behavior. My glass of wine was badly corked with a nickel sized piece in the bottom of my glass.

As always, Todd (Yellow Porch manager) and team kept things running smoothly in a gracious and friendly way. We enjoy visiting with those who work at Yellow Porch and with other guests every time we are there. The pot roast was perfectly and deliciously prepared and the filet was perfectly and deliciously medium rare. The salads, broccoli and potatoes all were a treat to our taste buds and oh! We are so glad that our new friends at the next table shared a bite of Katie's olive oil, lemon blueberry cake. Be sure to get a slice when you are there!

Our party of six all had delicious food and excellent service provided by LeighAnna, who goes by LA. The steamed mussels were a big favorite; the mussels were big and perfectly cooked in a delicious broth and served with a generous portion of buttered toast. The soup of the day, celery& blue cheese ,was amazing! I had the salmon entree and loved it. Always delicious food here!

Two stars for great service.Reading the other reviews makes me think we came when the chef was on vacation. Poor quality entrees all around. Soggy and wet salmon skin. Udercooked, unseasoned risotto. The paella was inedible. All overpriced.Had high hopes for this place based on reviews, was severely disappointed. Our server was incredibly sweet and kind and she was the one positive note I can add to an honest review.

Met 4 friends for dinner at the last minute on a Tuesday night. This is one of our group's favorite restaurants and we were very happy to score a reservation. The food was excellent as always and our server very attentive and patient. We particularly appreciated being able to have a conversation without having to shout over loud background noise-a rarity in most restaurants these days. Our group decided Yellow Porch would be one of our regular places to meet.

Absolutely delicious brussels sprouts!! I could've had those for my meal ! Very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff! I like that they have an option for outdoor seating to with heaters outside

We were a party of five and Jason was wonderfully attentive to us. The food was delicious and everyone in our party, including the teen, loved their entree. We will definitely be back!

I recently visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The food was exceptional and the service was impeccable. Our servers were extremely friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food is amazing, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you're looking for a delicious meal with excellent service, look no further than this restaurant.

I have lived on the gulf coast for 40 yrs and it is still hard to find some place than can cook it right so it is thick and scallops off your fork. They served it with perfection tonight. I would like a version without all the other seafood but it was delish. Want to be notified when they do it again Dot Merritt

charming

So excited to visit this local spot but just not overwhelmed- food and drink menu had some great options. Fries were super disappointing, entrees were mediocre and Dessert was ok. Love this local idea but hasn't won my heart

Three colleagues and I enjoyed dinner and drinks. One of the highlights was the crème brûlée's we had for dessert. We will definitely return the next time we visit Nashville.

First time at this restaurant and didn't know reservations were recommended as we live out of state. They told us to wait 15-20 minutes for outdoor seating. There were 8 unoccupied tables inside and out. We didn't feel welcome by the hostess

We have eaten at TYP for years and love it. Our meal on NYE was as expected with great service. We have found since COVID the food is a little different but still tasty. Will certainly keep dining here.
