We visited the Waffle House in Newport, Tennessee today after hearing so many great things about it, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, how well the crew worked together, and how delicious the food turned out. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and she made sure our meals came out piping hot and fresh. Overall, it was an A+ experience, and I would highly recommend this location to anyone!
Service was slow. They were talking with friends and waited to get our order until after they finished talking. And waited again to start our order until the next conversation was finished. Another couple that came in after us got up and left.
Great example of what made this chain successful. Food was tasty if less than healthy, but portions were fair. Staff was very attentive and friendly while seeming to work together for the benefit of the customer.
