First time returning after a bad experience. It was a great experience. Staff was great and seemed to work together well. They acknowledged us immediately as we walked in, and quickly cleaned a table for us. Food was cooked quickly and was excellent and our waitress was attentive and friendly. We visited the Waffle House in Newport, Tennessee today after hearing so many great things about it, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, how well the crew worked together, and how delicious the food turned out. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and she made sure our meals came out piping hot and fresh. Overall, it was an A+ experience, and I would highly recommend this location to anyone!
Service was slow. They were talking with friends and waited to get our order until after they finished talking. And waited again to start our order until the next conversation was finished. Another couple that came in after us got up and left.
