Friendly staff, appropriately flavorful and spicy dishes (even on the buffet). So many buffets I've been to in recent years are overly sweet and bland. Not this place. If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.“

“I have been to this restaurant many times and went last night for my birthday with my family. The coffee encrusted filet is phenomenal and this is the only place I have ever seen it. Along with the scalloped potatoes side and the artichoke dip for an appetizer I was so pleased. Everyone enjoyed what they got whether it was the salmon, French onion soup, or other steaks. Our server was so kind and attentive and found out it was my birthday so gave me a free dessert along with champagne and a card signed by the staff. We will be back again before my next birthday for sure!“

The food was absolutely amazing—our guests are still talking about it—and everything held up beautifully even in the summer heat. On the day of, the team was professional, kind, and easy to work with, which made everything seamless. I would recommend Southern Spoon to anyone planning a wedding (or any event). They truly went above and beyond and helped make our day unforgettable!“

“We've been here several times and consistently have a good experience. Asked for some help picking out the charcuterie and it was great (hot honey goat cheese was my favorite). Old fashioned was good. We got several of the small plates to share and those with the hot honey was enough of a meal for the 2 of us. We've tried several of the pastas and entrees before and enjoyed those, just didn't have room this time. Usually busy at dinner time so I always try to set up a reservation. Will definitely be back.“

“I ate here yesterday afternoon with a large group of friends (14). It was fabulous, and so nice to eat at a local, family owned restaurant here in Cool Springs which is mostly limited to chain restaurants. I called ahead of time to make sure they could accommodate us and spoke to Luke and he said he’d set aside seating for us. Luke ended up being our server, and he was very sweet and gracious to our rowdy table! We all mostly ordered different pizzas, although a few got pasta dishes, and I added wings to my pizza order. Most drank beer, a couple ordered wine. The pizzas were all very good! I got the Italian Stallion as my husband loves green olives and it had that as an ingredient along with Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, salami and mushrooms. It was wonderful, the toppings were plentiful and the crust was perfect. Others ordered different specialty pizzas and had no complaints. I also got the traditional wings with a mild buffalo sauce and they were quite yummy. My son got the spaghetti & meatballs and it was a huge plate with 2 giant meatballs! He could only eat half of it so he had leftovers for another meal at home. Another person got the Mozzarella Caprese Salad, and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta dishes came with homemade garlic knots. The beer selection is rather limited, if you like craft beers like our crowd does. They are mostly standard beers, so that’s the only recommendation I have, that they up their game on the beers and offer more options from local breweries. They were out of some of the limited ones they carry, but Luke explained they restock beers on Monday (we went on a Sunday so they were at the end of their supply by then). As far as the vibe, it was a perfect low key place to hang out with friends, drink beer and eat pizza etc, and watch football. There were plenty of TVs to watch the games. There were even fun video game machines if you’re into that. We really enjoyed Mineo’s - food, service, and vibe were all tops! It does take a little while to get your food but we understood with our big table, and it was nice anyway to not be rushed out the door (we stayed almost 2 1/2 hours!). So nice to support this local family owned restaurant!“

“Tonight my friends and I had the pleasure of being served by Anna at J. Alexander’s in Franklin, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down at the bar, she greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel comfortable right away!

Our cocktails were excellent. Each one was perfectly mixed, presented beautifully, and tasted great. Anna was attentive without hovering, checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed. She remembered our drink preferences after just one order and kept our waters filled without us having to ask. She also offered helpful suggestions for cocktails we might enjoy, which we really appreciated.

We come to J. Alexander’s a couple of times a week and have always had good service, but Anna stood out. She is professional, approachable, and clearly takes pride in her work! The atmosphere at the bar felt even more welcoming because of her.

It is not just about the drinks, it is about the overall experience, and Anna made ours great from start to finish. We truly enjoyed having her as our bartender and will definitely be asking for her again on future visits.

This ain't exactly what we usually eat, and wanted to hone in on what we order for future visits. I'll just get the beef soup next time, but with extra beef. It was delicious. My wife will get a steamed bun and we'll share seared pork and cabbage dumplings.“

“Tried Honest Indian Vegetarian Restaurant recently. The food was overall good and worth trying if you’re into Indian vegetarian dishes. I had the Dosa, which was crispy and tasty. The Pani Puri was a bit bland for my liking, and the Pav Bhaji could’ve used a little more flavor, but it wasn’t bad.

Their sweets were excellent — fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Definitely the highlight of the meal.

The place was clean, service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. Prices are reasonable, and the menu has a wide range of options to choose from.
