What can I say? Waffle House is that friend we aren't proud to say we know. They're the friend that's a little too loud and a little too friendly. We quietly ignore them in a crowd until you really need them. We are as ashamed of knowing them as we are of how we treat them around others. Believe it or not, this was my first ever Waffle House experience, and it did not disappoint! April and the friendly staff greeted me kindly and made small talk throughout my stay. The chicken hash brown melt was perfectly crispy and melty. I also had a chocolate chip waffle (had to, being a Waffle House). I'll be in Oak Ridge for a few days and hope to be back.
