I stopped going to this restaurant after I was treated poorly by a little boy and a little girl. Smart mouthed. I went in there twice a week. Once I got my food, which the gentleman behind me got his food first. I told the children that I would not be back. I was told have a blessed day. So you can treat people badly then tell them to have a blessed day. Hmm what's wrong with that.
Horrible waitress. She disappeared! I had to go to kitchen door to get some help! Only excuse( but never a sorry) was WE HAD A HICCUP. Waited 35 minutes with only water & tea- which a passing waiter had to be asked to get a refill. Other customers congratulated us on our patience AS THEY ate their meals & dessert before we even got our food and did I mention WE SAT DOWN BEFORE THEM!!????

I went on Thursday for the open face turkey meal after calling to make sure they had it before driving from Charleston. I left after hanging up the phone. When arrived was seated immediately, place wasn't busy at all. It took 9 minutes before anyone came to take drink order, I told her I was ready to order and I wanted the turkey. She replied that I talked to you earlier, then said let me see if we still have it. She left and went into the kitchen, when she came out started talking...read full review

Countryside Cafe is a country-style restaurant that has been in business for over 35 years. The food is fresh made to order and tastes homemade with delicious, hearty flavors, especially their meatloaf, Mac and Cheese, fried okra, chicken and dressing, and wings. The fried okra is a standout dish, light and crispy with a cornmeal crust. The service is friendly, attentive, and great, with all servers working as a team. The atmosphere is busy but filled with good people enjoying good food, creating a warm, welcoming environment. It is a very good place to take your complete family. The restaurant is small, but spotless and inviting. Be sure to save room for one of their numerous dessert options like the terrific cocoa cola cake and unbelievably good homemade banana pudding. Overall, a visit to Countryside Cafe is definitely worth it for a tasty and satisfying dining experience.
