The Oysters don't come out fast enough. But everything here was amazing.

Food was overcooked. The crab legs were not snow queen- very small and not fresh. Butter tasted like popcorn butter at the movies. The only thing I enjoyed was the clam chowder.

Atmosphere was okay, not many people here. Was looking forward to the food and super let down :( waitress took my meal off the ticket but we would have been happy to pay if we ate anything.

Small buffet for the price. Just a tad over $200 for 4 and only three of us had the crab legs. Part of that cost is our fault as we let our 13 year old get crab too. But he only ate like one cluster. Should have slipped him some off of my plate. That's my bad decision. Normally I don't care about price as long as I'm overwhelmed with choices. Two hot bars and one cold bar didn't trip my trigger. The building seems outdated and could use a refresh. Our server was very nice and kept our sweet teas topped off. I would eat here again but probably make different choices.

I got to try captain Jim’s for the first time. Let me tell you, they didn’t disappoint. The crab legs were exceptionally delicious as well as the other items on the buffet. This is a must try if you’re in town

Over priced not worth it dont waste your money! The pull and peel shrimp was cold shrimp. This was so bad we left hungry after paying $120

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Just blew 125 for 2 people to eat dry, unseasoned, overcooked food, she brought out fresh crab legs and they didn't crack, they mushed. This is a garbage restaurant and needs shut down immediately. The lady bringing the food to the buffet was unenthusiastic and is just as bland as the food. The target audience for this buffet is 65 yo and up, if you have cardiac problems this is your place, not even salt on the crackers. No packets of old bay, Cajun, NOTHING.

Crab legs were excellent and sweet. Cost was a bit more this time but definitely worth it for the quality!

🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢Disappointing and disgusting! I can’t speak about the crab legs because we didn’t eat them, but as for the rest of it, if I could give this place a minus 100 I would. Mushy boiled shrimp, nasty fried oysters, and the gumbo was horrible. I didn’t try other items because they looked dried out. Just low quality all around. I made one plate of “seafood” with a cup, of their idea, of gumbo and 1/2 plate of salad. I ate one bite of each item and left the rest. The evening we visited in March, it was hot and humid inside the restaurant. I felt like I needed a shower when I left. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Way too many great places to go besides this place.

The prices are inflated and the food selection is very limited. We paid $140 for two people and left hungry. I will never come back here again. The day after visiting this restaurant I had diarrhea.

This place is absolutely terrible.
While our server was very sweet and attentive, the actual food was disgusting. We paid $128 to eat 6 crab legs between the two of us. No one asked how the meal was, even with the plates of food that kept going back to them full. We tried so many of the different buffet choices. Seafood, poultry, sides. None of them were properly cooked or seasoned. Very disappointed with how this turned out!!

I was reluctant to visit due to the 50/50 reviews of some loving it and others right hating it. I’m happy to say the all you can eat buffet was absolutely amazing and the staff 5 stars. It has the feels of a family owned buffet. The dessert selection was great and I definitely recommend the coconut pie.
