In May, my wife and I ate at Famous Original Ray's Pizza and this place had slices that were EQUAL to them! Now, don't come after me NYC (I said equal), they really are that good. So, if you're in the middle of the Smokey Mountains and looking for a taste of NYC, stop in! Oh, make sure to get extra napkins, because you'll need them 🤣“

“We were in town visiting and wanted some pizza. There was some lunch meal deals and it was very affordable compared to the other options. The pizza and garlic knots were delicious! We will be ordering take out later this evening. The lady that rang up our door was kind and explained things well.

“This was the PERFECT restaurant to take my wife for our anniversary dinner!! The Shrimp Valentino honestly couldn’t have been any better! 🍝🤌🏼 Perfect balance of flavor and a hearty serving of large shrimp with the right hint of spicy. The grass fed beef lasagna was incredible and my wife said it was a 10/10 best lasagna she’s had anywhere! Great selection of drinks 🥂 and the desert menu did not disappoint one bit! The in-house made tiramisu cake was delicious as well! The atmosphere is romantic and tastefully done with each grottoes booth displaying beautiful life sized scenery from around Italy as if you were sitting there view out of a window while you eat! Our table even had a fresh🌹in a vase and candle which was the right touch for the occasion! “They need to allow reservations for busy weekends and allow ample group seating.
The policy for large groups is ridiculous when there is no where to sit and wait. Food was great service was awesome. Unfortunately we were a large group stuffed into a booth and a chair on the end with no room to move so that was the worst part about our first time here.“

“Conveniently located pizzeria with great tasting food and friendly service.

The pizza is exactly what you want after a long hike at the Smokey Mountains or shopping in downtown. The Caeser salad and chicken Alfredo was also great food options we ordered along with the pizza. Sodas were a bit pricey but the local beer was a great bargain for a restaurant at $4 a bottle.

The dining area is quaint and the fireplace adds to the relaxing environment. There is also outdoor seating if it suits. No outside heaters were seen.

Our server Angela was a gem. Friendly smile and always attentive to any requests we had.

Parking: Parking is super difficult to find. If you are staying in the area it is worth a walk if nearby.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu if not ordering pizza.“

“We were in the mall and could smell the pizza from one of the higher levels. I ordered a small, 10-inch cheese pizza to share with my partner. In all honesty, we should have gotten some slices, because it would have been around the same price, and I think the slices would have technically been bigger. We placed our order and I paid with a card, which incurred a 4% credit card surcharge. We waited about ten minutes for our pizza. When it came out, it was piping hot and tasted really good! I almost wish I had gotten a larger size. The flavor was great and the crust was perfectly crispy and thin. The only potential "red flag" I noticed was that when we visited, two children were working. The person who took our order was a child, then I noticed another one in the kitchen. I understand this is a family business, and the children were super respectful, but it was something unique about this pizza place that I had not noticed in other places I have been to. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here and would recommend stopping in.“
