“Exactly what us SXSer’s needed!! Come in from a long day on the trails and stop at the Blind Frog Cafe for a hot delicious meal before heading back to camp. Wings are huge, pizza was delicious and service was super fast and amazing. They serve beer and seltzers in cans. We enjoyed it so much we went two times in one weekend! Everything we ate was great. If you are not coming in off the trails please note they do their best to keep the dining room as clean as possible but the riders come in very dirty, I promise it’s worth overlooking the endless dirt on the floor despite their attempts at cleaning frequently!!!”
“We were heading through town very early morning from spending some time in Burnside, Ky for spring break and we needed an emergency restroom stop and noticed the open sign on. The one woman working there was more than friendly and so were the patrons. Was told they had the best biscuits and gravy in the area by one patron, but we didn't have time to partake in the goodness. Thank you so much for the use of your facilities. It made a possible start to the day turn good!!”
“Love this place. They even have CHOCOLATE GRAVY on the breakfast menu Fridays and Saturdays! You gotta try it if you've never had it. Eat it with biscuits or as I like it with scrambled eggs and a little peanut butter all stirred up together. This is the only place around here that has it that I know of.”
“? fries stop ???Located very close (quick drive) to the Pilots travel stop, Hardee's is a welcome sight?Hot food, fries made to order! Oh that crisp salty goodness ???”
“The food was fantastic and was priced very well! The lunch Fajitas were cooked well with no grease, like some Mexican restaurants are guilty of. Our waiter was extremely attentive and kept everything refilled. The one drawback is the physical condition of the restaurant - the bathroom doors don't close and lock, the patio furniture is broken and cannot be used, and the general upkeep of commonly used areas are in need of improvement.”
“This is one major spot we stop when we are headed to the Smokies from Ohio. NEVER been disappointed!!! Today was no different ? The guys behind the counter sure know how to roll with the punches in a pleasant manner! They were out of bread because they just had a huge rush. The proof were all the people sitting outside at the picnic tables. Every seat was filled and they were all eating Subway subs (don't forget those, like us who eat in our cars)! Gabriel and his co-worker jumped to selling bowls and wraps flawlessly. I didn't get the other guys name, but he was a smiler and interacted well with every customer. Gabriel took care of us from start to finish and did a fantastic job! These two gentlemen need kudos for sure, they are representing the Subway brand splendidly!!!”
“Came for an early dinner recently. Service was a bit slow, no one was at the front register. Two kitchen employees were visible, one was scooping rice and the other was stirring the fryer with a whisk while cussing at it. Not uncommon for a Popeyes, so I was okay with it. About 6 or 7 minutes later, the front register guy emerged from the back and apologized for the wait. He advised he was on the phone with his boss because one of their employees was, and I quote, "tripping balls" and he needed to get that sorted. Fair enough. I asked him if he had to send the employee home, and he gestured to the angry fryer whisker who is now walking around the back without purpose as said employee and it all suddenly made sense. Despite the enormous amount of red flags presented at this point, I had been wanting Popeyes since I had been driving from Kentucky and this was the first one I came across, so I opted to still order food. Great decision. My 5 piece tender platter was out in 5 minutes or less and it was probably the best Popeyes I have ever had. Overall, unusual but not uncommon experience for what I expect at a Popeyes and the food was delicious. 10/7 stars. Probably gonna eat there again on the way back through to see whats next.”
“Stopped and stayed at a local hotel while traveling home. Saw Jacks by chance and glad we did! Joe was awesome and the 2 man band was fun. Sandwiches were good and the beer was cold. Will stop if in the area again!”
“Okay this lil spot was the best. On a road trip we waltz in espresso deprived, expecting a iced americano the woman heard me wrong & handed me a iced Carmel macchiato BUT I was so happy for the accident bc I discovered that it's now one of the best things to hit my lil tastey-buds. God bless mana we will be back ~~~ :)”
“They do an amazing job! The taste and presentation is out of this world! Not just the cakes, everything that comes out of her door! I just recently finished her cake decoration class, it was fun and I loved every second of it. Needless to say I am not a good student with anything crafty. She took time away from her family to teach her skills. She will never lose me as a customer or friend! What her and her employees offer is so much more than making cakes and selling them. After taking her class, and buying everything needed to make a cake, and icing makes me appreciate her and the team so much more!!!! Sorry for writing paragraph!”
“This place is excellent. We got the pulled pork platter. One with baked beans and coleslaw another with the beans and potato salad. It was all good and very generous servings at a very reasonable price. Service was fast and friendly. We are camping at Cove Lake State Park so this was convenient. We ordered carryout and will be back again when we are here next time.”
“E's Market & Deli, the staff are ALWAYS kind and courteous. Their food is top notch, we haven't eaten anything that wasn't good. We eat here often not just for the great food but because of the great service, as well.”
“Had to wait a couple of minutes, about 5, but the tenders were fresh and delicious! The fries were crinkled and seasoned to perfection! Love this restaurant!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.”
“It's always the small spots with the good food! Shout out to you Josh (cook)! And yes I will be calling ahead of time for some of your food when I come back down south!”
“Called in out to-go order while on our road trip. So glad we stopped here. Quality sushi and surprisingly cheap. The prices listed here on google are not correct. The things we ordered were cheaper than what is listed! That never happens”
“A classic family restaurant with good pizza and friendly, fast service.Dietary restrictions: The cauliflower pizza crust was amazing! It was thin, crispy, and delicious ?”
“Me and my fiancée LOVE Waffle House, staff is always friendly and we go late at night usually. It's clean and food is great, drinks are great. Can't complain about Waffle House ever.”
“Shoney"s Breakfast Bar is always good for awhile Caryville Shoney's was going downhill but they have turned it around always a friendly helpful staff. I love their scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy.”
“Food is amazing, we eat here just about every other weekend. Staff is always friendly and checks to see if we need anything. My son gets lunch here twice a week. The drive through is convenient.”
“There was a man with a brown beard who made our order, and he was very friendly and made our food well. He provided fast and well-made food. Overall, he was great, and I came out satisfied with my experience.”
“Got lunch here today, everything was very fresh and hot, no complaints there! We ordered 2 ice coffees and the first one was awful so we went back through drive thru and got a different flavor, they were just as nasty, so we threw them away and gave up on the ice coffee, outside of that great food and great service!!!!”
“Good food. A little tight to turn around but well worth the walk if you don’t want to drive up there. Yes they sign is high enough to drive under with a 13’6.I will be coming back. I just wish he was open later. We need food at night after everything else has closed. That’s where the money is. There’s no competition.”
