But just as great as their food is; so is the service! we always ask to be seated in Alisson’s Section simply because she is great! One of them gave us a handmade Happy Anniversary card that was from the staff that was so cute. I really appreciated that gesture. We both had steak. I had the steamed broccoli and corn creme brulee. “Went in with my family after visiting the splash pad in market square with my toddler. We had the original Rice and beans and added chicken, it was absolutely phenomenal! Lots of flavor in every bite. My girlfriend had a refreshing berry cider which we both enjoyed, while I sipped on an American stout which was just to my liking. Everything was amazing from the service, to the food, to the atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!“

“I just want to share that we ALWAYS get our seafood from here. Yesterday we went to pick up a 20 person shrimp boil from them bay to find out someone had overheard our IN STORE order a few days before when we ordered it and that person who was behind us in line arrived at the shrimp dock at opening, gave the workers our name, and made off with our Pre made 20 person boil that we had already paid for. The staff were so shocked and we Felt horrible for them. They QUICKLY threw together another 20 person boil and they were apologetic and very accommodating. They know me and recognized that we shop there and they were so nice. I can't say enough about how well they handled it. To the person that scammed this small business. SHAME on you. This business did NOT deserve this.“

For the entrée, we had the filet mignon was cooked to perfection! Our server was an absolute delight! For brunch, we had the Appalachian shrimp & grits which had such a wonderfully rustic/earthy flavor, and the butcher's omelet which was so fluffy, fresh, and flavorful. The side of fruit could not have been any fresher! The thing that drove us back to the restaurant 'might' have been the Blueberry Basil Margarita. The non-alcoholic version was just as good if not better than the alcoholic version! The blueberry puree was truly the star. We will be sure to visit the next time we're in Knoxville!“
