They made us feel welcomed by seating us at a perfect table that was accessible and yet out of the way to accommodate his wheelchair. Thank you to the seating hostess for accommodating us! 💜 Then we had a wonderful server by the name of Mark! He provided excellent service, made sure that our son felt welcomed, and made sure our son had a wonderful meal that he enjoyed very much! We explained our son's dietary restrictions and Mark did a excellent job at making recommendations for our son's meal. The excitement our son had from his first bite of the Neva's Potatoes was priceless! His face lit up with excitement, scooched his wheelchair closer, and leaned in closer over the potatoes. lol Kinda wished we had gotten extra potatoes for him to have again later. He was just as excited while eating his leftovers too! Thank you to our server Mark and Chesapeake's for the wonderful meal and accomodating our family. We highly recommend this restaurant! 🥰“

“I will begin by saying that this was an absolutely brilliant dining experience. The food was phenomenal, the service and general hospitality was top notch and the atmosphere was laid back and casual.

I'm quite shocked by a lot of these reviews, mainly the ones that are complaining about the price. Please tell me where in Knoxville, or really most metropolitan areas, that you can get all you can eat Raw oysters, two different kinds of mussels, crab legs, smoked salmon, a variety of cold salads and the best Clam chowder this side of the Mason Dixon line for under $50 a person???

BUT WAIT!!!! Also included in that price are at least three different kinds of cooked fish, a chicken option, prime rib cooked to perfection (with or without a savory aus jus, raw horseradish or horseradish sauce), a fresh pasta station and a variety of desserts, which are also all you can eat (if you're simply greedy) and a beverage as well??? The answer is nowhere. Quit showing how utterly cheap you are while giving your review.

The service was incredible. Everyone worked as a team, our server, Gavin, was incredible on his knowledge and attentiveness without being annoying and everyone we came in concert with that worked here was incredibly friendly without being fake. Also, the buffet was constantly being refreshed the entire time we were there. Kudos to the back of the house.

The seafood buffet, all though estranged from the menu after the pandemic is a Knoxville staple and has been for decades. When I did standup in the 90s I would stay at The Radison, which is now Crown Plaza, just for the seafood buffet alone. It was $35 then (30+ years ago) and didn't have as many options as it currently does now. Not to mention, it's way better now. Again, stop complaining about the price.

Set in an incredibly nice hotel, with a lounge on the first floor, Mahogany's is a flight of stairs above with natural light from the high windows, with a decent, but obstructed view of downtown Knoxville and a semi quiet tone to the restaurant in general. Reservations are highly recommended.

In closing, outside of the house white wine, everything was pure perfection and will be a regular monthly destination for me and my wife. I highly recommend this establishment.“

Yesterday we went to pick up a 20 person shrimp boil from them bay to find out someone had overheard our IN STORE order a few days before when we ordered it and that person who was behind us in line arrived at the shrimp dock at opening, gave the workers our name, and made off with our Pre made 20 person boil that we had already paid for. The staff were so shocked and we Felt horrible for them. They QUICKLY threw together another 20 person boil and they were apologetic and very accommodating. They know me and recognized that we shop there and they were so nice. I can't say enough about how well they handled it. To the person that scammed this small business. SHAME on you. This business did NOT deserve this.“
