“Did a tour and tasting this weekend. Our guide, Ethan was amazing, fun and informative. Not a huge bourbon fan, so I was very happy that they included their Old Fashioned with the tasting. “A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. “Ordered tamales and didn't realize they would be twice the size of "normal". So I ended up with leftovers for lunch the next day. I got the pork mole ones. Packed with pork. Masa soft and yet firm at the same time. Not dry at all. Perfect. Literally only thing I'd change would be to ask for extra red sauce. I like the filling a bit more wet than these were. But not an actual complaint, just my personal preference. I will definitely be coming back for more & to try other menu items.“

If you are offered a seat at the bar take it! 10/10 recommend! To the manager, I hope you know you have a great staff, which is rare these days. We had just left another restaurant (A.F.) because the guy behind the bar was so rude to us and our server. We walked out of there and into “Milk and Honey”. Thank you Mattson and Emily!“

“My son was screaming while I was ordering, the young girl taking my order ran to go grab him the milk I ordered and waited for me to pour it in his sippy and took the cup back to throw away. She obviously did not have to do any of that and I am so grateful she did because the line was long and it allowed me to wait in line without a screaming baby. Every time I’ve gone to the Wichita Falls location I’ve always had above and beyond customer service.“

“My son and I just moved to the area and were headed to a hiking trail for Mother’s Day. On our way we decided to stop here rather than just get fast food. I’m so glad we did. Everyone here is so friendly, the food is incredible, the view is amazing. Our server (I can’t exactly remember if it’s Macy or Maizie) was phenomenal. Will be a regular lunch spot for us.“

“HIDDEN GEM!! I love this place so much! It was our first time here ever. How did I not know about this place?!
It is so sweet and charming with great locally roasted coffee (they get from an actively serving military member from Chattanooga - currently deployed). Yummy cookie dough by the slice with keto, vegan, and gluten free options. They also have ice cream and bottled drinks.

We got almond milk lattes and macchiatos, with sugar free syrup. They were very good.
The business is woman owned and everyone we met that works here is super nice.
They are all about community. I love the trinket treasure chest and community bookshelf. There are also local artist stickers and crochet animals for sale. We hung out on a comfy couch and enjoyed books from their shelf while munching our keto cookie dough.
Right across the street from the aquarium, it is conveniently located.

“We had an out of the blue date night last night. My mom came over and we asked to go to dinner with no idea where to go. We decided to give Lakshore Grille a try and WOWWWWW. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. The cocktails were also yum. You definitely get your monies worth. It seems like a great place to work and a wonderful atmosphere. We can't wait to go back. Great job!“

And Today we found it at Southside Pizza, we ordered 2 slices to eat in, one bite and I knew I had to order a 20 inch pie to take home. although it takes 40+ minutes to get there, this will now be our pizza place ! Excellent service and very friendly staff. Everyone at Pax is super friendly and welcoming. People do clothing swaps there.

A fun evening is hanging out at Pax and picking up a pizza at Southside and eating it at Pax.“

“My fiancé and I had dinner there last night and had the best experience. Ezra was our server and took great care of us. We started with the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and the award winning wings. They were some of the best wings we have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and double fried. My fiancé had the 1885 Burger and I chose the lightly battered and fried flounder with a side of mac and cheese. His burger looked and tasted amazing. It was a big and juicy burger cooked a perfect medium temp. My flounder we absolutely delicious. So light and fresh. The Mac and cheese was real Mac and cheese. Very creamy and baked with bread crumbs on top. We also really enjoyed cocktails and agree we would give the 1885 grill 5 Stars!“
