“Everything was great with the only exception being that this Godfathers was barely noticeable in a convenience store. It looked like the lights were off behind their counter but there was someone standing there and I asked if they were open which he replied yes and took my order. When it was done and I even brought it out to my car which I wasn't expecting but was nice nonetheless.”

“I have been looking for a halal fried chicken place in Nashville for so long. I spoke to the guy up front and confirmed it was zabiha halal.

The service was very friendly and kitchen was impeccably clean. They also use a pressure fryer which is awesome.

I got the nashville hot 2 pc and a nashville hot sandwich. The seasoning was amazing and it was coated very well. The crisp on the chicken was perfect and the meat was tender. The whole place seems to be run by a one man army which is impressive since I did not have to wait too long and everything was made to order.

The only thing I would suggest to put this over the top is to brine the chicken so that the seasoning or flavor can penetrate through.

“First: I’m extremely picky about my lattes. I am sensitive to overcooked (burnt taste) beans and undercooked (sour taste) beans. I have gone here repeatedly for iced lattes and they have always provided the perfect texture and balance. They are by far (and I don’t say this lightly) providing the BEST espresso in Nashville. Second: What truly makes this cafe great is that it’s the only cafe in town that makes you feel like you’re wanted. All of these cafes built in the last 20 years are hard, cold and sterile. If you’re younger than 40, you probably don’t even remember that cafes used to be warm, social, inviting and a home for many people. New cafes are so uninviting and I feel it’s done on purpose to get you to leave so more customers come in. But the Daily Grind? It’s homey, has couches, the walls are filled with all sorts of crafty love and plants and there’s a poster on the front that lets you know this is a SAFE space for all. It’s reminiscent of the old days when you had warm social spaces where you could spend hours every day with friends playing games, drawing, talking and no one glued to their phones. I hope this cafe gets to expand and provide even more of this nostalgic homey feel and bring that needed community experience back to Nashville. Third: GREAT food and customer service on top of all of the above”

“Feels a bit pricey but the pepperoni slices were good - pretty thin with a nice ratio of ingredients. The large pepperoni are nice - as far as my pizza eating has led me, Pinky Ring and Five Points are the best in/around Nashville. The two aren't comparable at all, totally different styles of pizza. You could eat both back to back and be happy without feeling like you've had too much pizza.”

“I went to sushi kingdom for the first time tonight. I normally go to sushi train on whitebridge road. i want to try something new. Big mistake my sushi rolls had no flavor. They fell apart very easily. Whoever is rolling them has no experience. I tried the hibachi steak very tough and no flavor. i Could not finish it. I had hibachi vegetables with it they were cooked very poorly. i asked him to put it on the same plate, and it was very messy and unappetizing looking. the vegetables are very soggy and overcooked. then I tried the hibachi shrimp. Another mistake four shrimp very hard and served no flavor served in a bowl. Very unappetizing looking. The only thing that was good was my sashimi. The service is very poor an unprofessional. the waitress kept mixing up differentt able's orders. The whole place looked unprofessional. It looked more like a cross between a seafood restaurant and a sports bar. Not a japanese sushi restaurant. overall, the experience is very poor and I would never recommend this to anyone, and I will never be back. the sushi train on whitebridge road has this beat a hundred percent. nicer atmosphere cleaner the staff is excellent. Rhe bathrooms are definitely cleaner. the service is fast and the food is always excellent. for all you can eat sushi, it is definitely hands down.The best in Nashville. To top it off i ordered a pot of Green tea and got jasmine tea by mistake.”
